What is the mission of tuition assitance grants?

The mission is to provide the capability for all families, even low-income earners, to attend Apostles Lutheran School.
Who qualifies?
a) Families whose children are in grades K-8.
b) Families must be accepted as students at Apostles Lutheran School.
Am I required to be a member of Apostles Lutheran Church?
-- No, nor is there pressure to join the Apostles Lutheran Church. Of course, all families interested in a closer relationship with God are invited to attend Apostles.
What agreement will the family have to make to be enrolled in our school?
-- Familes who receive assistance must agree to meet all the regular school requirements.
What grant amounts will families receive?
-- Families will receive a grant based on need. Those that meet certain income limitations may receive grants up to 85% of tuition and fees.
What does the grant cover? What does the grant not cover?
-- The assistance package covers tuition payments for the year. It does not cover books, t-shirts, supplies, field trip fees, or any optional expenses.
Do assistance packages cover multiple years?
-- The grant is awarded on a yearly basis. Families may apply each year.

What documents need to be submitted to FACTS?
Please submit the most recent tax returns as well as W2 forms for both spouses. If applicable the following should also be submitted: Social Security income, Workers' Compensation, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, and/or TANF.

What if I don't submit my tax and income documentation?
The application for assistance will not be considered.
